After experimenting with comic roles in movies like Rascals, Kangana is now trying her hand in direction. The actress has turned director for a short film which is been written in collaboration with an Australian writer.
The film is shot in Los Angeles and is based on human – animal relationship. The actress is currently working on the project with the American cast and crew in US.
"After meeting Hollywood biggies during one of my recent trips to Los Angeles, I decided to helm the project. And things just fell into place," said the actress who shot to fame with her movie Gangster where she played lady love of a Mafia.
The movie revolves around the life of a 4 year old boy and a dog. The 25 year old actress said that she visited many workshops to understand the psychology of the kids in a deeper level since the main lead of the film is a small child.
"It took six months of thorough groundwork. I was advised not to work with kids and animals, but my script demanded it. Kaden (the boy) is very little. We had to place hidden cameras, play games and pretend to be aliens and trees in order to get him in the frame! But it was fun, he is adorable. The dog was well-trained and not difficult to work with," she added.
The film is in its post-production stage and Kangana is working hard to get everything right. She intends to premiere it to international film festival.
"We intend to send the film for international festivals, but as of now, I am concentrating on finishing the editing and visual effects. That's the only thing on my mind before I leave for Paris for my next acting schedule," she said.
So is she planning to say adieu to her acting career and go behind the camera?
"I love them both in a unique way... But working with an international cast and crew was an amazing experience" said the Fashion star.
Apart from direction, Kangana will be seen as a Superwoman in the most awaited Super-hero flick Krrish 3 starring Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra.
